Press Room President's personal photographer visited Vanadzor armregions.am Martin Shakhbazyan is engaged in photography for 50 years. He is president's personal photographer, reports the correspondent of armregions.am in Vanadzor. He had managed to perpetuate millions of movable and immovable images and events, people and animals, feelings and concerns. The camera, which is always with him, is not at all all-seeing, however, master himself directs the attention to the right place and catches the moment. Last year Martin Shakhbazyan decided to present Armenia in new, bright and real tones. He shared with his opinion with the president, who gave his approval and expressed the wish to assist him. Three times he detoured around Armenia, turned to all spheres, with patience waited to make pictures. Sometimes it was successful photo, sometimes not. The best 250 photos will be exhibited in all the regions under the title The Regions of Armenia. Then, they will be composed in photograph album, the encyclopedia with short information about the regions. The first shelter of the parade-pilgrimage is Vanadzor museum of fine arts. For two days the photos with famous monuments, sacred places, town from the famous and unknown corners will be presented. The photographer had wanted to show the bright sides of Armenia through this exhibition that is dedicated to 20th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia. The reason for visiting Vanadzor first was love and respect towards friend's memory, wonderful photographer Artavazd Sirakanyan. |
